Star Platinum & The World Guide

Star Platinum: The World (SPTW) stands as a monolithic testament to overwhelming physical trauma and precise temporal control. This guide covers both the base Star Platinum and its devastating Time Stop evolution into The World.

Star Platinum Overview

Base Star Platinum

Star Platinum is a close-range brawler powerhouse. When you close the gap using Horse traversal, Star Platinum obliterates practically any gun-wielding player in seconds. Its combination of high burst damage and reliable melee pressure makes it an A-Tier Stand in the April 2026 meta.

Complete Moveset

Key Bind Move Name Damage / Effect Tactical Application
E ORA Barrage 5 DMG per hit (Total ~160) Trap enemies against environmental geometry. Best used at close range.
R Strong Punch 35-40 DMG Primary combo ender. Guard-breaks on blocked enemies.
T Skull Crusher 25 DMG Teleportation gap-closer. Blink behind enemies for surprise attacks.
Y Stand Rush 8 DMG per hit Sustained pressure tool. Strings well into Strong Punch.

Star Platinum: The World (SPTW)

The Ultimate Time Manipulator

SPTW is tailored for relentless, suffocating forward pressure. Its kit demands that the user constantly close the gap and dictate the physical space of the encounter. The World is an S-Tier Stand designed specifically to punish minute positional errors and completely shatter enemy defensive lines.

Evolution Requirements

1. Base Acquisition

Obtain the base version of Star Platinum through standard awakening methods—typically by consuming a rare Arrow Shard fished from Lake Boullier.

2. The Requiem Arrow

Seek out, acquire, and apply a Requiem Arrow directly to your active Star Platinum. Upon piercing the Stand, it undergoes a violent transformation into "The World" variant.

The World Moveset

Key Bind Move Name Damage / Effect Tactical Application
E ORA Barrage 5 DMG per hit (220 Total) Trap enemies against geometry. Best unleashed during Time Stop to guarantee all hits.
R Strong Punch 40-45 DMG The ultimate combo ender. Guard-broken enemies are launched away, resetting neutral.
T Bearing Shot 20 DMG Fast, long-range projectile with massive hitbox. Exceptional for chip damage at distance.
Y Skull Crusher Teleport / Strike Teleportation gap-closer. Perfect for baiting dodges and repositioning behind enemies.
F Time Stop 3 Second Freeze The signature ultimate. Halts all movement, projectiles, and player actions for exactly 3 seconds.
G Ground Slam 45 DMG + Knockback Area-of-effect damage and severe knockback to clear surrounding gankers.
H Timestop Resistance 3 Seconds of Movement Passive-active hybrid allowing movement within enemy Time Stop domes.

Time Stop Duration and Frame Tactics

The activation of Time Stop (F key) is the single most terrifying event in Bridger PvP. The ability freezes the entire environment for exactly 3 seconds. While brief on paper, in fighting game frame data, it is an eternity. Use this window for surgical precision—repositioning behind enemy lines or perfectly aligning an inescapable ORA barrage.

PvP Strategy & Combos

Opening Combo

Lead with Horse traversal to close distance instantly. Open with Skull Crusher (Y) to teleport behind the enemy, then immediately chain into ORA Barrage (E) for maximum damage before they can react.

Time Stop Burst

Activate Time Stop (F), then sprint behind the enemy and unleash the full ORA Barrage (E). On the exact frame that time resumes, cancel into Strong Punch (R) for guaranteed damage.

Counters and Weaknesses

Hard Counters

Gold Experience: Requiem (GER)

GER's "Return to Zero" passive completely nullifies Time Stop, reversing the temporal shift, erasing all damage dealt during the freeze, and leaving SPTW users exposed to lethal counter-attacks.

Tusk Act 4

Act 4's infinite rotational energy allows slight movement within Time Stop domes. Its Infinite Spin pierces blocks and prevents stamina regen, making it a direct counter.

PvP Pro Tip: Baiting Time Stop

When fighting against SPTW users, never commit to aggressive pushes immediately. Force them to burn Time Stop early using cheap utility like Knives or Dynamite. Once F is on cooldown, you have a 30-second window of guaranteed advantage. This is when you close the gap and secure the kill.
