Tusk Act 1-4 Progression Guide

The evolution of Tusk is the most mechanically complex and rewarding progression path in Bridger: WESTERN. Heavily inspired by Johnny Joestar's journey in Steel Ball Run, this guide covers every Act from the crippling Act 1 to the devastating Infinite Spin of Act 4.

Why Tusk Act 4 Dominates PvP

Tusk Act 4 is the game's ultimate Shield-Breaker. Its Infinite Spin nails pierce all defensive blocks and prevent enemy stamina regeneration. Perhaps most importantly, Act 4 users can move slightly even within Time Stop, making it a spectacular hard counter to Star Platinum: The World.

Act 1: The Crippling Burden

Initial Acquisition

Secure the Left Arm of the Saint's Corpse

To begin the Tusk journey, you must secure the Left Arm of the Saint's Corpse. Important: Other Corpse Parts such as the Rib Cage, Right Arm, or Legs will not yield Tusk upon consumption.

10% Success Rate Warning

Consuming the Left Arm carries a precarious 10% success rate. Players will likely have to fight multiple server wars to secure enough Left Arms for a successful awakening.

The Crippling Penalty

Upon successful awakening, you become permanently crippled. Your ability to walk, run, or sprint is entirely disabled. Movement is restricted strictly to crawling slowly or utilizing dodge rolls. Compounding this extreme vulnerability, all traditional weapons—including revolvers, repeating rifles, and sabers—are forcibly unequipped and permanently locked.

Act 1 Ability Kit

Nail Bullets (E)

Spammable, minigun-like projectiles dealing 10 body damage and 19 headshot damage. Your primary weapon while crippled.

Jump Move & Nail Glide

Essential mobility tools to hop and glide across terrain. The only way to mitigate the lack of traditional sprinting.

Accuracy Boost (X)

A self-buff that drastically enhances projectile precision for long-range canyon sniping.

Act 2: The Golden Ratio

Seeking Gyro Zeppeli

To shed the severe movement limitations of Act 1, you must embark on a pilgrimage to seek out NPC Gyro, located deep within the Steppe region. By undertaking his training and proving your worth, you acquire Spin Mastery and unlock the mathematical secret of the Golden Ratio.

Once this lore milestone is achieved, simply press the V key to evolve into Act 2.

Act 2 Ability Upgrades

Ricochet Shot (G)

Deals approximately 62 damage and carries the brutal ability to literally sever enemy limbs, permanently crippling their combat effectiveness.

Homing Bullets

Automatically track fleeing targets. Essential for securing kills on mounted opponents.

Trap Bullets

Lace the terrain with hidden projectiles to secure a perimeter and control enemy movement.

Act 3: The Wormhole

Progression Requirements

To evolve to Act 3, you must return to the brutal server-wide war economy. Secure either the Heart of the Saint's Corpse or find the elusive Jesus NPC, who materializes randomly at the Church or within the Devil's Palm anomaly every 30-60 minutes.

Act 3 Ability Upgrades

Enhanced Bullets

Strike the target twice in rapid succession for 35 damage per hit, absolutely melting through enemy health bars.

Wormhole Uppercut

The core upgrade. Use your own bullet holes as spatial portals, sinking into the earth and reappearing behind an enemy for surprise melee execution.

Act 4: The Infinite Rotation

The Ultimate Evolution

The final evolution into Tusk Act 4 is an endgame triumph requiring absolute mastery over multiple interlocking game systems. The requirements are incredibly steep and highly specific:

1. Max Spin Mastery

Complete rigorous moving-target trials with Gyro Zeppeli in the mountains until your Spin gauge is perfectly maxed at 100%.

2. Corpse Part Possession

You must actively hold either the Pelvis or the Heart of the Saint in your inventory.

3. Equestrian Synergy - The Golden Spin

The evolution sequence must be triggered on horseback. Mount your horse, accelerate to maximum speed (Full Gallop), actively cast Act 3's Wormhole capacities, ensure your Spin gauge is at 100%, and strike the Golden Spin key (H or J).

Act 4 Combat Mastery

Infinite Spin Nail (T)

The signature ability. Inflicts devastating damage-over-time that prevents enemy stamina regeneration and completely pierces all defensive blocks.

Time Stop Resistance

Your infinite rotational energy allows you to twitch and move slightly even within the frozen boundaries of a Time Stop dome. Hard counter to The World users.

PvP Pro Tip: Golden Spin Location

Never attempt the complex Act 4 evolution sequence in an open, highly trafficked area like Ridge B. County. The required setup—galloping in a straight line at full speed with a full Spin gauge—makes your movement highly predictable to snipers. Always retreat to the barren, outer edges of the map to perform the Golden Spin ritual in absolute safety.
